Kataneh Sherkat is a trained professional coach and HR strategist who understands the importance of visioning and the challenges of not pursuing your dreams.
After years of working with recognized and respected organizations both locally and internationally, Kataneh left the corporate life to start KASA Coaching & Workforce Design which had always been a dream of hers. As a professional coach, Kataneh brings her passion and dedication to every situation. She is recognized for championing her teams and motivating staff and clients to reach the unexpected.
Professionally, she has had direct experience working with staff at all levels of an organization. She has led cross-functional teams and has provided advisory support to senior managers and executives across various industries as a result of her work with Ray & Berndtson (executive search), Deloitte Consulting, CIBC and Royal Bank. Her specialties are in the areas of Human Resources Strategy, Succession Planning, Talent and Performance Management, Executive Recruitment and Change Leadership. Her success has been achieved due to her down-to-earth and sincere style combined with intellect, strategic thinking and a good sense of humour. She prides herself in the relationships that have been formed over the years which continue to open doors.
Kataneh is a trained coach, a member of the International Coaches Federation and is currently undergoing coaching certification. She holds an MBA from McGill University as well as a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and an International Business Management certificate from HEC in Paris.
In addition to her work, Kataneh is fluent in English, French, Farsi and familiar with Spanish. She is an avid traveler and is very dedicated to giving back including supporting YMCA initiatives and other worthy causes.
